the macro type space acts like a normal chat, its pretty simple
if u type in /dance next time u activate a macro ull dance Smile its as simple as that

more info at

class specific at

too lazy to search for more sites...

u can use macro to cast spells etc too --

if u want something to cast one after the other use /cast then 'spell' name

eg. /cast bloodrage, intercept

but u have to becareful with things like having enough mana or rage and also cooldowns if they cant cast one after the other straight away they will just fail

A poss solution to this is to use /castsequence where u have to hit the macro button each time to cast the next spell

eg. /castsequence rend, sunder armor ---- would have to press the macro button twice

u can also change stance etc wth them, use items, equip weapons & use emotes.

found out a really interesting one...

when u type %t in game, %t stands for ur targeted creature, player etc...

so when u have selected lets say a cow and type %t u will say : "Cow"

the interesting part is making a macro, for example a ressurection macro. like this :

/cast Redemption(rank 3)
/s Rezzing %t

if u have a dead player selected when using this macro, for example if i died and ur rezzing me, u will begin casting the spell and ur char will say Rezzing Strafe. still havent figured out how to whisp a player with the same macro notyfying him that he is being ressurected i tried to add another line to the macro which was :

/w %t Ressurecting you

but the game says that %t player could not be found...
